How do you want to feel when you wake up in the morning? When you open the door at work? Spend time with your friends? When you learn something new?

This question is the foundation of Danielle LaPorte's Desire Mapping process and as simple as it may seem, it has the power to turn traditional goal setting inside out (disclaimer: It might even turn your life inside out). Desire Mapping is all about getting to the goal behind your goals, about how you want to FEEL when you get there.

So what if, first, you got clear on how you actually wanted to feel in your life, and then you laid out your intentions? What if your most desired feelings consciously informed how you plan your day, your year, your career, your holidays — your life?

Desire mapping is about uncovering and making space for those feelings in your day-to-day life, to use them as signposts for what to say "no thank you" and "hell yes" to. To feel how you want to feel more often than not! To enjoy the magic that unfolds...
